Idaho man finds art in back hair
A hirsute United States man has figured out how to put his abundant body hair to good use, teaming up with a friend who “manscapes” intricate designs into his mighty pelt for a hil-hair-ious 2016 calendar. He started with a sketch, and got Tyler Harding, an old friend from college, to carve the design into his back hair.

But now at the age of 35, he’s willing to share it.
“Everybody always makes fun of the guy with back hair”. ‘Well now it’s my turn to shine, right?’
The two set up a makeshift salon in his garage, and the rest was hair-story.
Mike Wolfe, from Nampa, Idaho, says he’s had an extreme back problem since he was a teenager.
They called that first creation “Am-hair-ica the beautiful” and a Calend-hair was born.
Designs are uniquely named, such as Grim Reap-hair for October and M-hair-achi Band for May.
In all, it’s a time-consuming process, as Wolfe said it takes him four months to fully grow in a lush cover of back hair only for it to be carved up again.
While Mike can thank his family for the fitting last name of Wolfe, he has to welcome his wife’s ability to appreciate his coiffed crusade even more.
“He said, ‘I have to tell you something, ‘” recalled Jamie, Mike’s wife.
Meanwhile, Jamie thinks it’s all because of her: “Maybe I shouldn’t have given him so much confidence in his back hair”.
