Those who predicted a loss in the Octagon would mean an end to Ronda Rousey’s A-list outside gigs turned out to be wrong.

Considering she is the champion, Holly Holm sure had to make her share of compromises as far as her next fight is concerned. She’s previously had roles in The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage.
When they squared off at UFC 194, Holm’s striking was much superior to Rousey’s ability to defend it. Most felt Rousey’s ground game would do Holm in, but Holm’s boxing kept Rousey at bay until she was eventually knocked out.
If you want to quote Shakespeare, there are so many ways to go, but Rousey posted one of the Bard’s most famously wistful lines on Instagram: “I was adored once too”. UFC president Dana White has incessantly stated that Rousey alone changed his mind on women fighting. “We have officially signed a multiyear extension with the UFC”, said Fresquez.
There is some disagreement between the UFC and Holm’s management though, since the former stressed that she won’t be allowed to fight anyone except against Rousey, but the former champion must first recuperate from her injuries.

And while Ronda told earlier this month that the defeat made her “really f***ing sad”, Maria said it is not her place to share her sister’s reflection on the “moment the world learned she wasn’t invincible”. Her manager expressed interest in a bout against former title challenger Miesha Tate. “As I had mentioned before, I’m going to take a little bit of time, but I’ll be back”. Rousey and Holm are tentatively scheduled for a rematch in Las Vegas at UFC 200, but it isn’t set in stone just yet. I am definitely looking forward to seeing her do some live performances of tracks off of her latest album, Revival. In her promotional debut at UFC 184 in February this year, she defeated Raquel Pennington. As Holm recently told The MMA Hour, she hasn’t heard from Ronda herself that she actually wants the instant rematch.
