What We Learned About President Obama From ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’
To kick off his final year in office, the president joined Seinfeld on his show, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, for the Season 7 premiere.

Seinfeld chose a silver blue 1963 Corvette Stingray for the ride with Obama but had to stay inside the White House premises for security reasons.
The comedy continues, with Seinfeld tapping on the window of the Oval Office as the President appears mock-annoyed to be disturbed.
The pair then hopped into the auto and drove around-the property, that is- and had some friendly banter.
When the star of the long-running sitcom looked offended, Obama shot again, asking “Are you still doing stand-up?”
He continued, “That moment where you lost your anonymity, and anonymity is not something you think about as being valuable”. He put his popularity with children down to his ears and the fact that they licke to say his name, especially as one word – barackobama – “it’s kind of a Nickleodean thing”. So you have to be able to just make fun of a lot of that, like: “‘That was even dumber and more annoying than usual.’ That’s when cursing is really useful”.
Obama: “A pretty sizeable percentage….”
“This is a sweet auto right here”, Obama said when he saw the Stingray.
For about 15 minutes, the two chat inside the Corvette, the presidential limo, and what is presumably a break room for White House staff.
But before their coffee was over, the president took some time to pitch Obamacare. The president joked that the auto is outfitted with the ability to order a nuclear submarine, as well as seat warmers, to which Seinfeld replied that the latter are “pretty standard”. “This is a childhood dream”, he says. As per the format of the show, super auto enthusiast Seinfeld begins the episode geeking out on the vehicle.
“I get a wake up call”, Obama said. “It’s a cool feature”.
“What is it that you really want to do that they don’t let you do?”

“There’s nothing more nothing than this”, Seinfeld says.
