Of course, the main thing to take away from this is that Guns N’ Roses is headlining the biggest night of the festival.
Eddie Trunk has posted a new blog discussing Guns N’ Roses reunion.
The band’s founding members Slash and Duff McKagan will reunite with singer Axl Rose who has been touring under the band’s name since 1993 as headlines this year’s Coachella festival in California.
The popular, annual, live-music extravaganza in the California desert has unveiled its bill for the upcoming edition, with the mid-80s, early 90s-era band among the prominent performers listed.
On Friday, headliner LCD Soundsystem will be joined by Ellie Goulding, M83, Jack U, The Front Bottoms, Run the Jewels, Sufjan Stevens, DJ Mustard, Purity Ring and dozens of others.
Last year’s Coachella festival sold almost 200,000 tickets and grossed a record $84.3 million.
Guns N” Roses had massive success in the late “80s and early “90s with hits such as “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Paradise City”, “Sweet Child O” Mine” and “November Rain”.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until he finishes his nachos to get more details.
The Sunday-night headliner is Calvin Harris, following a day including Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, the 1975, Rancid and Miike Snow.
Passes are set to go on sale as of January 6 at 11am, so if you like what you see, you’d better snap them up.
