In an interview with the Washington Post on Tuesday, Donald Trump said Ted Cruz’ Canadian birth would be a “big problem” for the Republican Party.
Cruz dismissed Trump’s comments, telling reporters in Iowa that the best way to respond was to laugh it off and talk about what he called “the issues that matter”. “Steve’s experience taking on the Washington Cartel, fighting for the American people and protecting our liberties is an asset to this team”.
