The president’s next budget will include funding for 200 more Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents to enforce gun laws, said the White House.

Eyewitness News reporter Greg Argos spoke with the grandparent of a child killed in the Sandy Hook school shooting in CT, as well as a licensed firearms dealer here in the state of Pennsylvania. “They sell those one weekend in Indianapolis, one weekend in Fort Wayne, perhaps the next weekend in Columbus, Ohio”. The rise in gun sales took place after the USA president vowed to make it harder for people to buy assault weapons.

Experts say the more the Obama administration acts as though the guidance has created new legislation, the more legal trouble it might invite.

Anybody in the business of selling firearms must get a license and conduct background checks or be subject to criminal prosecutions, Obama said.

“Every time I think about those kids, it gets me mad”, Obama said, wiping away tears.

He previously told the BBC that the failure to tackle gun control had been the greatest frustration of his presidency.

“Year after year, the evidence is clear that states with fewer guns and strong gun laws have far lower rates of gun deaths”, VPC Legislative Director Kristen Rand stated. “But maybe we could try to stop one act of evil, one act of violence”, Obama said, adding that “the gun lobby may be holding Congress hostage right now, but they cannot hold America hostage”. “His executive order will no doubt be challenged in the courts”.
