LG K10 and LG K7 announced ahead of CES 2016

Well, they’ve also announced a couple of new smartphones ahead of CES 2016 with the LG K10 and LG K7. It has 5-inch FWVGA display and under the hood, the LTE model is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor, while the 3G model is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset.

The LG K10 smartphone sports 5.3-inch HD display with a pixel resolution of 720×1280 pixels.

The 4G model comes with either a 1.2GHz or 1.3GHz quad core processor of a 1.14Ghz octa core processor, the 3G model has a 1.3GHz quad core processor and either 1GB, 1.5GB or 2GB of RAM. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and depending on the market, an 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The rear cameras are upgraded to 13MP on LTE variant and 8MP on the 3G variant while the front camera remains same at 5MP resolution when compared to LG K7. The battery is at 2,300 mAh. It too arrives in 3G and 4G LTE supporting variants. Unfortunately the company has not released any pricing or availability information yet, so check back soon for an update.

The K7 and K10, as the first pair from LG, are expected to impress people who value design and creativity. The same story stands valid when it comes to the on board memory as the LG K10 comes in 8GB and 16GB internal storage variants. Besides that you can take four quick shots by using the Gesture Shot interval feature. RAM can be 1GB/1.5GB, while the internal storage can be 8GB/ 16GB.

As far as the colors of the phone, the 3G one will come in black, gold, and white while the LTE version will only be available in a “titan” hue. The front camera might be an 8MP or a 5MP snapper depending on the country. Backed by a 2300mAh battery, the smartphone measures 146.6×74.8×8.8mm and will be arriving in three colour variants – White, Indigo, and Gold. “Customers equate the LG name with great smartphone imaging technology and we are committed to delivering on that flattering expectation”. The new glossy, pebble finish is complemented by the new LG 2.5D Arc Glass, which has a smooth style only made possible by the shape of the K Series and the fact that the smartphones have no button clutter on their sides.
