Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp hits back at Sam Allardyce claims

Klopp will select an inexperienced, youthful side in the third-round tie at Exeter City tonight, well aware of the consequences should Liverpool go out to the League Two side.

During Tuesday’s Capital One Cup semi-final, first-leg victory over Stoke City, Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren limped out with hamstring injuries and Kolo Toure suffered cramp.

The Reds still have three Premier League games this month, with two of those being against Arsenal and Manchester United, so the German will have to find a way to ensure his players are 100%.

Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce said Klopp has underestimated the ferocity of English soccer, adding the effects of a “high-tempo pressing game from the top end. has kicked in now”. That is not possible.

Klopp takes his Liverpool team to St James’ Park with some big decisions to make on team selection, especially after a recent spate of injuries. We are working together and we know about our situation and the reasons why.

Benteke’s lack of mobility has become something of a concern to the German, who wants technically superior players with the ability to get stuck in and work hard for the team.

More specifically he likes to stick it to other foreign managers who are coming over here and denying good honest British men, good honest British men like Sam, their rightful place at the helm of the giants of the Premier League game.

Reds manager Juergen Klopp said he would be forced into fielding a makeshift side owing to injuries to 10 senior players. None of these players will be available for tomorrow. If someone is not interested in my situation, how can I be interested in their opinion? We have ours, and know what we’re trying to do on Friday night, but the reality is that we have nothing to lose. That has nothing to do with the intensity of games. “We can not play with Phil Coutinho – he can not play for three and a half weeks at least”. Jordon Ibe has a tight hamstring and will not travel to Exeter.

“He’s using his experience to make sure the players are ready and know what the game means”.

In his column for the Liverpool Echo this week, Lawro urged Jurgen Klopp to give the club’s young players a “chance to impress”.

Verheijen’s main concern is over-training and the accumulation of fatigue, which he believes is the cause of far too many avoidable injuries. We have to see.

“We try to be successful but you need a little bit of luck, we haven’t had this”.
