Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Tottenham’s Harry Kane as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to reports.

It wouldn’t surprise me if some big teams are interested in him.

As revealed by Telegraph Sport, Real are monitoring Kane ahead of a potential bid for the England worldwide at the end of the season.

Kane has already featured in 20 Premier League matches this term, so far scoring 11 goals while providing another one assist.

The biggest issue with the side is their lack of cover up front, however, with Harry Kane the only real option at centre-forward after the departures of Roberto Soldado and Emmanuel Adebayor. But he is not for sale and the good thing is that Harry wants to stay with us.

“But in this case, the good thing is that Tottenham don’t want to sell him sell and Harry Kane wants to stay with us”.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says Harry Kane has no desire to leave the club this year.

Madrid have successfully conducted business with Tottenham in the past by signing the likes of Gareth Bale and Luka Modric, and the club hierarchy is now confident of luring Kane away from White Hart Lane as well.

“But it’s a good opportunity, maybe for some players who can not play consistently play in the Premier League, to show their quality and fight for their place in the team”. CIES Football Observatory, a Swiss-firm whose evaluation of players is taken quite seriously by many top clubs, rates Kane at around £68 million, which is more than three times his market value.
