The plane was carrying 69 passengers and four crew members landed at 8 p.m. Thursday in Romulus, where law enforcement removed the passenger from the aircraft.

A Chicago-bound airliner was diverted to Detroit Thursday night when a passenger caused a disturbance, officials said.

WDIV-TV reports a woman assaulted another passenger on the flight and was restrained.

Breanna Farquharson was named in a federal complaint on Friday by the FBI that says 30 minutes into the flight, she approached a flight attendant and “frantically” requested to deplane.

She was carried off the plane and may have been injured during the incident, according to the Chicago-based station.

The flight then continued to O’Hare International Airport, arriving about an hour late.

United 3461 was taken to the North Terminal where the woman was taken off the plane.

According to NBC New York, the woman may have been suffering from a medical condition.
