Jurgen Klopp has hit back at Sam Allardyce over the Sunderland manager’s claims that the style of football the German has introduced at Anfield is the root cause of Liverpool’s current injury crisis.

More specifically he likes to stick it to other foreign managers who are coming over here and denying good honest British men, good honest British men like Sam, their rightful place at the helm of the giants of the Premier League game. It’s not a problem. Maybe he [Allardyce] has time to think about Liverpool problems. “It is not easy, but we will try and find one”, Klopp said.
Divock Origi, Jon Flanagan, Mamadou Sakho, Martin Skrtel, Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson, Jordan Rossiter, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings are already on Liverpool’s ever-lengthening injury list and Sunderland boss Allardyce has blamed the German’s training methods. There are things they will have to contend with like Premier League quality and Premier League tempo and whatever side Liverpool play they should have enough to get at least a replay.
“We have thought about nothing else for the last few days”, said the Liverpool manager. Two weeks ago we had no idea there would be a problem at centre-half.
“At the moment there’s only time for recovery and the game is our best session in the week, or our only session”. It’s average running, football is not all about more.
Lallana, however, sprang to his manager’s defence and refused to blame Klopp for the injuries.
“I’d rather have been winning games going into the match, but I happen to think that we have been playing pretty well”, said Tisdale, whose side have reached round three for the first time since 2005.
