Arsene Wenger: ‘Arsenal can win the league’

There is a growing body of evidence that suggests this season could finally be the one in which Arsenal finally win the Premier League.

Although French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germaine are also said to be interested in the midfielder, Wenger might just be able to sign him before they can gather themselves.

“Yes he reminds me of Bergkamp”.

‘It’s not impossible, I’m happy if he stays. I’ve not seen many players of his quality. “You know more than me”, he told a news conference. If a team is better than us, fair enough.

McClaren still remains confident Newcastle can avoid relegation, as his side look to improve on a record of 13 defeats from their last 15 visits to Arsenal.

“We are top but whether you are one point in front or one point behind is not so important”. He gives you slowly confidence. He leads the Premier League in assists and is showing the kind of form that prompted Arsenal to shatter their club transfer record to buy him from Real Madrid in 2013. “It’s a remarkable achievement”.

Earlier this month, France worldwide Debuchy said he would seek talks with Wenger to discuss his chances of moving from the club ahead of next summer’s Euro 2016.

“And on top of that he’s a remarkably talented goalkeeper. Of course, he’s comparable with David Seaman”.

“If he wasn’t playing the way he is playing, Arsenal would not be where they are now”.

“So if you go to my website, then you will find it all there”. Firstly, barring the game against Southampton, our defence has been outstanding this season, having conceded just 18 goals so far.

“As the opposing manager, I did not enjoy his performance”, Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said.

“Ozil is a hard man to mark because he drifts and he roams. On the assists they speak for him”, said Wenger when asked whether he was the best player in the Premier League. “I believe this team has the capabilities of doing it”.

All this from a player who last season was labelled as a luxury by some onlookers, singled out by Henry as a someone who needed to “step up his game” and accused of drifting out of matches by German legend Lothar Matthaus.
