This means that any Blu-Ray players, games consoles, or other devices connected to the TV will only require one remote.
Samsung Newsroom also detailed that the device comes with the new “Smart Hub” user interface which permits users to effortlessly switch between linear content, OTT content as well as other connected devices.
Meanwhile, the new Samsung Smart Control Remote can act as a single control for almost all devices connected to a Samsung smart TV. The camera can also be accessed from a smartphone, which makes it possible to examine the contents of your fridge remotely should you find yourself in a situation that demands that sort of thing. According to Latin Post, South Korean tech giant Samsung has introduced a Smart TV remote on Monday at the Consumer Electronics Show.
Samsung also announced a new partnership with MasterCard in a setup that will allow owners of the fridge shop for groceries at FreshDirect and ShopRite straight from the refridgerator.
It’s a trend that Samsung sees getting bigger and bigger but one the company is basing around consumer tastes.
The company’s co-chief executive Yoon Boo Keun touted the new fridge as “an inflection point” before the wider adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology that connects all machines from home appliances to door locks and lighting via the Internet.

Samsung says users will be able to easily search for programs throughout all of their devices and then add them to the TV’s home screen for easy access. There are internet connected coffee makers, toasters, and ovens all created to make consumers’ lives easier by letting them manage everything from their mobile phones. These two new enhancements showcase Samsung’s dedication in providing its Smart TV customers with an all-round entertainment experience.
