‘The Taco Cleanse’ diet boasts healthier twist on Tex-Mex

A handful of geniuses have concocted The Taco Cleanse. It uses tacos. A self-proclaimed “taco scientist” from Austin, Texas discovered a new cleanse diet that will not deprive you of your favorite food. A breakfast taco, for example, erases “the toxins of last night’s previous indulgences”, while a lunch taco uplifts your root chakra.

Those who want to follow it need to read the directions, because it’s not all about meat, sour cream, and cheese.

Taco lovers who are looking to get healthy in 2016 will be thrilled to learn there is a new diet plan that consists of only stuffed tortillas.

Taco Cleanse is not a joke – According to CBS News, the book is the number one best seller in Amazon’s “Cooking Humor” category.

Former reality start Spencer Pratt jokingly tweeted: ‘I’m on day three of this taco cleanse and have only gained like 10lbs, ‘ while Patricia Lopez added: ‘I’ve never been so excited to start a cleanse’. Her daily diet is one of the most sought-after in Hollywood.

“Its authentic. It’s real. It’s love. That’s tacos”, said Kala Singleton.

Health professionals tell us if you can make your favorite taco healthier, do it.

“If you can wrap wonderful vegetables and beans – beans are so good for us – if you can wrap those inside of a lettuce leaf or maybe a corn tortilla, I think that is a great option”, opined Jennifer Herriott, assistant director of the Community Health Division at the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District. “Cilantro, beans, chopped up onions, tomatoes”.
