iPhone 6S and below users running iOS 9.2 have some good news if they enjoy the many Cydia apps out there.
Apple is preparing to release iOS 9.2.1 and there’s no word yet about the iOS 9.2 Jailbreak. No releases.(The text in Korean is supposed to translate to “Grate Leader”) While Todesco’s tweet does mention “no releases”, that does not necessarily mean that Todesco plans to keep the jailbreak for himself. The hacker has been pestered by his followers asking when it he will release the solution.
Todseco might be keeping the jailbreak to himself for now, but he could end up sharing his findings with other jailbreak teams like Pangu and TaiG.
Now, Apple has come out with iOS 9.2, and the groups developing jailbreak tools are now creating new ways to come up a jailbreak. He was also credited by Apple for contributing in making the iOS 9.2 safer from security vulnerabilities, the report said. “The effort has finally been rewarded as after eight days of struggle, 3K Assistant has made a breakthrough on iOS 9.2 jailbreak”, wrote 3K Assistant in a Weibo post.
Apple’s upcoming iOS, the 9.2.1 build, is now still in Beta and being developed, which makes the hacking attempt even more surprising.
