Kenosha police say they’re still looking for the suspect in the case, 33-year-old Jeremy Shorter.
A woman who was abducted from Kenosha has been found safe in Oshkosh, but police continue to search for the man who took her.
They had been searching for her since 4:27 a.m. when they were called to an apartment at 1666 Birch Road by a neighbor who said three children had fled their home saying their father was beating up their mother. Officials say she was being treated for non-life threatening injuries. “Shorter is identified as a black man, 5’09” tall, 270 pounds, wearing a dark colored short sleeve shirt.
When officers arrived, the apartment was vacant but there was evidence of a struggle. That 31-year-old woman was located in Oshkosh on Friday morning. Kenosha Police Detectives are on their way to her location to interview the victim.
If you see Shorter, call police.
