DeMarcus Ware put the clamps on the loose football and punched Denver’s ticket to the playoffs.

Denver Broncos defensive end Derek Wolfe (95) celebrates his tackle on Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron during the second half of an NFL football game, Monday, Dec. 28, 2015, in Denver. But I know him well.
“Absolutely. You can get an ice bucket and a couple of more things if we take care of business”, Dunlap said.
“Felt great to finish the game that way”, Ware said.
“Sometimes, that’s just how the game goes”, Osweiler said. “The more (practice) I get, the more comfortable I am and the more chemistry we create as an offense”.
The Bengals (11-4) still have a shot at a first-round bye, but only if Denver (11-4) loses at home to last-place San Diego (4-11) next weekend.
On second-and-nine from its own 33, Denver quarterback Brock Osweiler hit tight end Virgil Green with a pass on the right sideline for an eight-yard gain. Dalton already has been ruled out for Week 17 and is unlikely to be ready if the Bengals have to play in the first round of the playoffs. If that positioning remains, the Bengals would miss out on a first-round bye that would be instrumental in helping the team heal. “It is what it is now”. We got off to a good start.
McCarron’s injury threw a scare into the Bengals (11-4), who lost Andy Dalton to a broken thumb on December 13.
The Bengals need a win and Denver loss to visiting San Diego.
After the Broncos forced a punt, Denver took over on its 48. But Denver’s come-from-behind win had less to do with any offensive aspect and everything to do with the team’s strength: defense. It sailed wide left, to the astonishment of 76,868 fans.
The relieved Bengals called tails and the coin landed heads.
Wenning, a 2014 sixth-round pick of the Ravens, has yet to play a down in the NFL. It was a little bit like the Pittsburgh game we were in last week, but with the shoe on the other foot.
Denver’s defense went back in the time machine, pulling back the cloak to reveal a unit that terrorized the National Football League over the first three months of the season. McCarron finished 22 of 35 for 200 yards and a TD.
The Mile High crew was outshined in the first half by the Bengals, with a 204-89 yards difference in the first half. With the game time temperature at 16 degrees, it was C.J. Anderson’s 39-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that helped deliver the Broncos a 20-17 overtime victory against the Cincinnati Bengals.
After Denver’s Brandon McManus badly shanked a 45-yarder on the final play of regulation, another key penalty hurt the Bengals in overtime. “The one thing I can say about AJ as a young player is that he gets leadership”.
Miller admitted the game had the feel of a playoff game. Media reports Tuesday afternoon indicated it was sprained. “When the game is on the line, you want to look for your guys that you know are going to make plays”. The rest? I’m not so sure. “He kept working at it, and it’s not too big for him and he keeps handling it”.
In the latest video, Manziel appears to be in a house, perhaps his home in suburban Cleveland, as opposed to a bar. “We shouldn’t let them get in that position anyway”.
