Florida death row inmate files appeal with U.S
Reeves, who is now widowed and has outlived all three of her children, said she has no doubt that Bolin kidnapped and killed her daughter – but she’s also bracing for another last-minute delay.

Unless an appeals court or the U.S. Supreme Court steps in, Bolin, 53, will be executed Thursday at 6 p.m.in Florida State Prison for the 1986 slaying of Teri Lynn Matthews. Rosalie Martinez had divorced her husband, a prominent Tampa attorney, after falling in love with Bolin, and has since played an important role in his many successful appeals – to the ire of the victims’ families.
The arrest was made Tuesday at the couple’s two-story apartment where they lived with their three children, police said.
In an exclusive interview with FOX 13’s Gloria Gomez, he said the evidence used to convict him was both tampered with and planted.
Bolin, who was once a carnival worker and long-haul trucker, is suspected in a number of other murders across the country. “It’s my release. My punishment’s over”.
“Florida’s just killing me”, he said as he proclaimed his innocence again.
Bolin’s murder cases in the deaths of two other young women in 1986 in a neighboring county – Natalie Blanche Holley, 25, and Stephanie Collins, 17 – also resulted in extended legal proceedings. Bolin Jr., who has been convicted 10 times for three separate slayings, is scheduled to be executed for one of them on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016. Rolled up inside the bouquet was the newly signed death warrant for convicted serial killer Oscar Ray Bolin.
The defendants’ parents and other supporters have held regular vigils outside the federal courthouse in Camden, where they were convicted after a three-month trial and six days of deliberations.
Earlier in the year, Holley was taken after leaving work at a fast-food restaurant and Collins disappeared from a shopping center.
Reeves knows there is still a slim chance the execution may not happen.
Reeves said she has no room in her heart for forgiveness.
The three Tampa-area killings went unsolved until someone called an anonymous tip line in 1990, when Bolin was already serving a 22- to 75-year prison sentence in OH for kidnapping and raping a 20-year-old waitress outside Toledo in 1987. Holley’s mother died in 2012. If all appeals are denied, Mr Brunvand said he will file a motion to stay with the US Supreme Court. The inmate committed suicide in late 2014, however.

“We just need to get rid of him and throw him in the trash”, Reeves told Reuters.
