Denver took its first lead of the game in the overtime, 104-102, but Green and Ian Clark hit back-to-back shots inside the key to put the Warriors back up. Nobody did anything intentional.

“Obviously anytime you’re dealing with a neck or back, it’s scary”, Nuggets point guard Jameer Nelson said. A team spokesman said general manager Tim Connelly accompanied Faried to the hospital.

Ultimately, no matter which player you want to single out for praise in the Warriors’ overtime win, the team’s passing game will be an unavoidable part of the discussion. His cuts through the Nuggets’ defense were huge baskets for the Warriors, particularly given the troublethe Warriors were having generating offense late in the game (12 4th quarter points). But Curry had to depart the game at the half after incurring more problems with a left shin contusion. He will be re-evaluated Sunday to determine his status for Monday night’s home game against Charlotte. Right now, this isn’t a return to the old, injured, fragile Curry, but the thought has to be crossing one or two people’s minds.

“I know exactly what happened”.

Then after Warriors small forward Andre Iguodala missed on a jumper for the Warriors, Barton’s nifty interior move in the final second forced the extra period. Thompson made one of two free throws with 6.9 seconds left, giving the Warriors a 111-108 lead and leaving the Nuggets with another chance. “So if he’s not playing, somebody else has to step up for him”. Denver was able to keep Golden State off the glass and win the close 50/50 balls as they tried to get back into the game.

For about three quarters, the Golden State Warriors were in complete control of their meeting with the Denver Nuggets tonight. He remained in that game long enough to notch his sixth career triple-double, which included a stretch in which he scored 17 points in less than three minutes. Small forward Danilo Gallinari, returning from a six-game absence, had 24 points for Denver, which recorded 52 rebounds in the game, including 24 on the offensive boards.

But several reports say he will miss the game, and that interim head coach Luke Walton, will take charge for at least one more night.
