Rain and snow expected for region
The winter storm watch issued Friday for this weekend was canceled as the weather did not do what forecasters were expecting. “The record of 57 set in 1950 will be challenged”, according to AccuWeather. Our above normal temperatures come to an end tomorrow as temperatures fall into the teens through the day.

Westerly winds ranging from 30-40 miles per hour are expected along with gusts reaching 50 miles per hour.
The center of the low is expected to track through central IN bringing the warmest air into our region before quickly ushering IN sub-freezing temperatures.
