Bill Clinton Stumps for Hillary; Is He an Asset or a Liability?

Donald Trump talks to Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough about the media and when former President Bill Clinton is “fair game” to attack.

Monday’s appearance marked the first time Clinton hit the campaign trail by himself in the new year to promote Hillary’s White House bid.

Most recently, while on the campaign trail at a rally in Derry, New Hampshire, Clinton shut down a heckler who breached the matter, CNN reported.

In a wide-ranging address that took voters through Hillary Clinton’s work as a young lawyer in Arkansas, ways to combat heroin addiction, the political achievements of President Barack Obama and the failings of America’s fourteenth president, Franklin Pierce, Bill Clinton argued that the Democratic front-runner offers the best plan to restore “broadly shared prosperity”.

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton has condemned Republican leading candidate Donald Trump’s “dangerous” rhetoric about Muslims, and urged that his candidacy be “rejected roundly” by the American people.

And also changed was his tone; the Bill Clinton of 2008, who also campaigned on behalf of his wife, was prone to frustrated attacks on her opponents, namely then-Sen. And Bill Clinton’s history of defending his wife suggests he will at least slug back.

In an interview that aired Sunday, Trump told CBS’ “Face the Nation” that “what he did and what he has gone through I think is, frankly, terrible”. The former chief executive journeyed to Nashua, N.H., where he made his first solo campaign appearance of 2016. He has said that Muslim women wear the headscarf to avoid putting on make-up. He remembers meeting her 45 years ago: “I thought she was the most wonderful person…”

He added: “I think Hillary was an enabler and a lot of things happened that were obviously very seedy”.

Trump was repeatedly interrupted by hecklers during his Monday event in Lowell, Massachusetts, in which over six different groups shouted during his speech.

Prudhomme-O’Brien said she had gone to a Clinton event at the Derry VFW in November, but was never called on by Clinton. “I’m not supporting his wife. He’ll do whatever Hillary wants him to do, and I’m sure he’ll do it very well”.

He also praised his wife’s experience in the Senate and as secretary of state, and calling her the candidate best fit to lead “an uncertain world”.
