New ‘Spider-Man’ costume is awesome: Marvel CCO
“The unbelievable Spider-Man” director Marc Webb recently shared his thoughts about the reboot, while actress Marisa Tomei is rumored to be in negotiations to play the role of Aunt May.

None of it was meant to be. Denis Leary is the guy spreading rumors now, and it’s possibly a sign that Marvel’s deal with Sony was a blessing. “Where it goes past that remains to be seen, but certainly the relationship between Marvel and Sony and the partnership is excellent right now”.
Leary called Webb an “actor’s director”, saying that during scenes with Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Webb let the actors go off-script and improvise. Well, neither of them was actively kicked to the corner, but the announcement of a reboot basically put them both out of these jobs.
According to some complaints, Tomei, 50, is just too young and attractive to portray the character – who was played in Sam Raimi’s 2002 film Spider-Man by the then 74-year-old Rosemary Harris, and by a 66-year-old Sally Field in 2012’s The unbelievable Spider-Man. And Webb was very gracious about it.
Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer, Joe Quesada, has said the costume for the new version of Spider-Man looks “awesome” and would ‘blow people away.’. “And Jon Watts is directing it, I knew him from the old music video days and he’d done some really fantastic music videos so it’s really exciting”.
I can’t imagine there’s a person on planet Earth that can’t relate to some aspect of Spider-Man 0r Peter Parker, and he is for all intents and purposes, he is Marvel’s Mickey Mouse.

Some Twitter users pointed out that, with Sony and Marvel taking Spider-Man back to high school, an aunt in middle age makes more sense than one in her 60s or 70s. Watch the full clip below.
