Southampton: No Saints duo for Palace visit
Forward Sadio Mane, 23, and midfielder Victor Wanyama, 24, have been linked with moves to other clubs. Of course, you see in some situations but that’s all about rhythm and game minutes, but it is too soon for him in my opinion [for him to be ready to play against Palace].

Southampton could look to cash in on Wanyama in the summer if he opts not to pen a new St Mary’s deal, mirroring the process with Morgan Schneiderlin, who joined Manchester United last summer.
“It’s too easy to mention after the mistake of Sadio, or the second yellow, that the players are showing that they like to move”, he added.
Southampton have produced the likes of Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott and Adam Lallana in recent times, and Koeman has expressed concerns over the next crop of young players coming through. The players knows the position in the club, and what we think about the players. I don’t have doubts about that. The Old Trafford club has again failed via a report from the Mail in the current transfer window after they were told in clear terms that Southampton manager Ronald Koeman wants to retain the services of Sadio Mane at the club.
“I don’t believe in rotation in football”.
The Dutchman was speaking with the Saints’ official website ahead of his side’s entry to the FA Cup third round against high-flying Crystal Palace on Saturday.
“Koeman said: “[He is] on a good level.
“He is an important player for us, someone who can make the difference”.

“This is a crucial game for our season – as important perhaps as Chelsea against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League”. “But that will start after Monday”.
