Steph Curry videobombs his dad before Warriors-Hornets game

In a win over the Lakers on Tuesday, Curry aggravated a pre-existing injury to his left shin, one that’s troubled him in past games. He had 30 Monday night in a 111-101 home win over the Charlotte Hornets.

– The Warriors were missing Leandro Barbosa (sprained left shoulder) and James Michael McAdoo (sprained left toe). Everybody seemed to rejoice in it.

“We got good shots, we got the shots we wanted”, he said.

Thompson finished with 36 points (12-of-22 FG, 6-of-12 3FG, 6-of-6 FT) in 34 minutes to pace the Warriors.

Golden State is 32-2 on the season, 15-2 on the road, 20-13-1 against the spread and 20-14 with the over.

Draymond Green saw his three-game streak of triple-doubles snapped, but he still racked up nine points, 12 rebounds and five assists.

Green’s string of consecutive triple-doubles ended at three. It was even more surprising considering how quiet Thompson had been prior to this year, during which he had gained a reputation for being rather soft spoken and conservative. “But he’s such a unique talent”.

You can’t turn on the TV or cruise the web without coming across Steph Curry in some form or another. “Thankfully, mine went in”. He did not participate in the morning shootaround and was questionable right about until game time when he made it through his usual pregame routine with no issues.

The post Warriors / Lakers Open Thread appeared first on Fast Break. “It’s a blessing. I did it before (back-to-back triple-doubles earlier in the season) and it didn’t quite work out for me. We want to get it all out of there and go from there”.

“Oh man, (the final assist) was so hard to come by”, Green said. “When you start looking for it, it’s impossible to get”.

The Warriors led 37-25 after one quarter, 62-47 at halftime and 92-60 after three quarters.

But Green managed to do it again. “Minutes were cut short, which was better for everyone, and we kind of got in the flow in some of our rotations again”.

Thompson and Speights had six points apiece in the run, Thompson hitting a pair of 3-pointers, while Speights took the more conventional three-hoop route to his half-dozen. The doctors are recommending that he takes the four weeks off and he probably can afford to because his team is so good but he bluntly said “I’m not sitting out four weeks”.

It was unclear as to what degree his back had been bothering him, but he did end up missing an overtime thriller in Brooklyn in which Golden State found themselves struggling offensively without Thompson’s outside presence.
