Originally it planned to carry out a bombing, then changed to a shooting attack before settling on the kidnappings, according to the Shin Bet. “They prevented us from reaching the area [during demolishing process] they started from 1200 am and left on 0400 am (local time)”, his uncle, Ramadan Halabi, said.

In Kafr Qaddoum, Israeli soldiers surrounded and invaded the city, attacking dozens of residents and global peace activists, causing many to suffer the effects of tear gas inhalation.

The cell of six people from Jerusalem and Hebron was uncovered and arrested last month, the Shin Bet announced Thursday.

In Bethlehem, Palestinian medical sources have reported that several Palestinians have been injured, after Israeli soldiers attacked protesters in Aida refugee camp and also in one of Bethlehem’s main roads near Rachel’s Tomb.

Shortly afterwards, Khalil Al Shalaldah, aged 16, from Sa’ir, was also killed by Israeli forces after he allegedly attempted to stab an Israeli soldier at Beit ‘Einun junction.

At the same time, 146 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, most while carrying out attacks.

Recently Israel’s Education Ministry has disqualified a novel that describes a love story between an Israeli Jew woman and a Palestinian Muslim man from use by high schools around the country.

His attack and subsequent death sparked the on-going wave of violence taking place across Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Palestinians say it stems from frustration at decades of occupation.

The Israeli forces prevented Palestinian journalists and ambulances from reaching al-Halabi house, he said.

At least 110 of those slain were killed “in cold blood”, the ministry said, while 10 bodies were still being held by Israeli authorities.
