Young Han Solo could have a Rogue One cameo
The screenplay for the Han Solo movie is written by Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan and will focus on how young Han Solo became the smuggler, thief, and scoundrel whom Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi first encountered in the cantina at Mos Eisley.

Disney is using the same strategy with Spider-Man in Civil War, giving the character a small cameo before re-introducing him in his own solo film.
As Disney expands the Star Wars universe, the studio has been searching light years wide in hopes of finding a young Han Solo for an untitled spinoff!
“Rogue One” still has a month of shooting to go and is supposed to be set between “Episode III” and “Episode IV”, making this new Han Solo age appropriate for an appearance in the film.
With The LEGO Movie’s Phil Lord and Chris Miller locked in the directors’ chairs, the outlet claims that the current shortlist for the Han Solo offshoot comprises Whiplash breakout Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Emory Cohen (Brooklyn), Blake Jenner.
Meanwhile, don’t expect any of these shortlisted actors to talk about what’s going on with casting: they will all sign NDAs before Disney and Lucasfilm work out test deals.
While many fans were saddened by the death of Solo in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, there is still more story about the character to be told.
The untitled pic is set to bow on May 25, 2018.
Ford, whose career exploded quicker than Alderaan after he was cast in the original “Star Wars” in 1977, reprised the trademark gig in the critically acclaimed new “Star Wars” flick, “The Force Awakens”.

Harrison Ford was 35 when he played Han Solo in George Lucas’ “A New Hope”, and while Solo’s age has never been officially confirmed, Lucas himself said he was looking for someone around the age of 30 to play the captain of the Millennium Falcon.
