Thousands Sign Petition Calling For Bengals-Steelers Game To Be Investigated

This was their best chance – they had the fewest significant injuries in the league during the season – and led a playoff game with 1:50 to go and still couldn’t pull it off. Their 25 years without a playoff win is the sixth-longest drought in NFL history – Washington is next at 28.

The NFL had warned both teams before Saturday’s playoff rematch, but the Bengals didn’t seem to get the message.

The Cincinnati Bengals linebacker completely lost his cool Saturday night during a AFC Wild Card Game loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Burfict’s hit on Antonio Brown last night not only made him public enemy #1 in Pittsburgh, it cost the Bengals the game and made him public enemy #1 in Cincinnati, as well. “He was just over there calling them b-ches”, Jones said.

Jones is a free agent along with two other key members of the Bengals secondary in Leon Hall and Reggie Nelson.

The Steelers will also need a big game for Markus Wheaton, who exploded for 9 catches and 201 yards against the Seahawks in Week 12 but hasn’t had more than 72 receiving yards in any other game this season.

“Antonio Brown was not hurt”. It was straight to the head in a key situation and all Burfict had to do was shift his body to at least try and make a play on the ball.

“The difference between him and (backup) Landry Jones is huge”, Bogdanovich said.

In addition to Burfict’s 15-yard penalty, the Bengals also were penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The combined 30 yards in penalties put the Steelers within field goal range with under 20 seconds left on the clock.

Bengals offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth wasn’t thrilled with Porter either, saying, per Dehner, “Joey Porter is not one of the people I have respect for”.

That’s because Ben Roethlisberger reportedly suffered a separated throwing shoulder and returned on the final drive despite not being able to throw the ball more than 10 yards.

“I’m not going to single out our guys”, Lewis said.

The Steelers have won just twice in their past eight trips to Denver, including a 29-23 overtime defeat at the hands of Tim Tebow in the 2011 wild-card round.

Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said a 300-pound lineman with a running start spearing an unsuspecting player with his head down was way worse than what the Giants’ star receiver did to Carolina’s star cornerback.

Steelers linebacker James Harrison, who spent one season in Cincinnati with his locker next to Burfict’s, said in Pittsburgh that Burfict is always pushing the line of what’s accepted. “You got me mad right now just thinking about it”. The report claims that three different fans have been charged with hitting women in the face or head (watch video above).
