Julian Edelman: Tom Brady is ‘ticked off’

National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell has yet to announce a decision on Tom Brady’s appeal of his four-game suspension for his alleged role in Deflategate, and New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is over it.

Edelman said he’s personally not thinking about DeflateGate, regardless of who will be the starting quarterback for the team on Week 1.

“Believe me, he’s not saying anything right now, but this is pissing him off, big-time”, Harrison told MMQB. “You go out in spring and you get to play touch football nearly with the helmets on, then you get to strap up now and mold your team”. You’ve got a lovely family. “You don’t want a mad Tom Brady, and he’s a little ticked off”.

“This will rejuvenate him”.

The last time the Patriots were accused (and convicted, at least by the NFL) of a scandal, they promptly came out and lay waste to the league the following year.

If Brady’s full suspension is upheld, he will miss the first four games of the season against the Steelers, Bills, Jaguars and Cowboys, though the NFLPA is prepared to present a compelling argument for court if any suspension results. The rest of the league better look out.

Harrison could have some merit toward his prediction. This year, he’s going to make everybody pay for what’s happened.” “The commissioner, I thought, really made a poor choice in taking part – basically trying to become part of this arbitration.

The lingering uncertainty surrounding Brady’s status obviously is quite a distraction, but in typical Patriots fashion, Edelman said he’s blocking out the noise.
