Cross-play functionality, meanwhile, which allows players to play with others across different platforms, is also coming to the PS4 and PC versions from January 25.
The game has been available on PC and PS3 for the past five years, and PS4 and PC fans will be able to play with Xbox One crowd.
Episode 21, coming this February, will feature a new eight-player Operation – “Prison Break” – and two-player Operation – “The First Piece” – inspired by the new Warner Bros. television series DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, premiering January 21 on The CW.
In addition to this, we can expect new storylines this year for DC Universe Online. The story will begin in the PhantomZone and will eventually take you all the way to the epic finish in the City of Kandor! This New Superman Storyline will feature Superman, Supergirl, Superboy (voiced by Greg Miller), Lois Lane, Ursa, Zod and Non.
The finale of Halls of Power – Get ready.

Plus, later in the year, the finale of Amazon Fury! And if you love Harley Quinn, you’re in for a treat. DC Universe Online says there will now be a storyline centered around her. Nothing unusual about that since it was developed by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE).
