Harry Kane doesn’t want to leave Tottenham.

Asked if Tottenham is where he will spend his long-term future, Kane replied: “Yeah, definitely”.

“There are always going to be rumours flying around but I’m happy here”, Kane said.

“Was it handball? I couldn’t see from my position but in football sometimes these things go for you, sometimes they go against you”.

“We have got a lot of young players who are getting better and better with each game”.

Ranieri said: “I suggested to Andrej it’s much better to go because in June there are the European Championships and he needs to play”.

Leicester and Spurs have lost just three times in all competitions since their last match back in August, and both sides now occupy a spot in the top four of the Premier League. The 22-year-old has now mustered 14 goals for his club this season and 50 in total.

He added: “It is maybe true that Harry Kane is a proper striker, but it is not only him – we have different players in the second line who can help him and also play in his position”. I’ll see if he starts from the beginning or if he is ready to come with me on the bench.

“The manager and the fitness staff condition every training session, they plan it out week by week on what players need”. He worked hard, which is what I wanted.

The majority of the White Hart Lane crowd chanted for the introduction of Kane and they got their wish as the England global replaced Carroll in the 68th minute and took over the captaincy from Danny Rose. “All players change something”, the Italian said.

“Step by step we are building, we are building to try in the future to fight for the Champions League”.

Leicester were without their two best players at the weekend as Claudio Ranieri rested Mahrez and Jamie Vardy was missing through injury, but Leicester City played extremely well on Sunday and were robbed of a win because of a bad decision to award a penalty for handball near the end of the game.

Spurs are now fourth on the Premier League table with 36 points and although a cup run would be good for the club, their target is on the Premier League title as they trail leaders Arsenal by just six points. Both are one of the top 5 defenders this season in the Premier League. But if we analyse, the first half, we deserved more.
