As part of the new Upgrade Your World initiative, Microsoft will be partnering with 10 global and 100 local non-profits to help spread Windows 10 across the world. If Microsoft pushes out a non-security update that either is designed to make a change to Windows or update an app and the update inadvertently causes other problems or disables a functionality, users are stuck. Preview builds did not have this time stipulation. The American multinational has even bypassed Windows 9 generation of the software after the unrewarding Windows 8 version. Or are you going to wait a couple of months for reviewers to tackle the new OS?

Windows 10 will also be the “last” version of the operating system, as indicated by Redmond.
When you’re not using your computer, Windows 10 will automatically download those updates, install them, and restart your computer. If you’re now running Windows 7 or later you’re probably eligible for a free upgrade (unless you’re an enterprise customer).
Unlike full-priced retail versions, an OEM licence is tied to one PC and is not allowed to be not be used on another new machine (see the difference here).
This means that Microsoft will maintain its regular 10-year support lifecycle for an operating system, broken down into a five-year mainstream support stage and another five-year extended support phase.
“End of support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance”. July 29 is being marked as the official release for Windows 10 and USB is the way to go. It has new innovations like Cortana, Microsoft Edge and the new and improved Xbox app.

The July 29 release of Windows 10 is fast approaching, and by making it available on Amazon, Microsoft is making sure customers can buy it however they want. Microsoft has not announced global pricing for Pro. But Windows RT, Windows Vista, Windows XP and pirated copies of any version of Windows are not eligible for the free upgrade.

In previous editions of Windows, users were able to pick and choose which individual updates to download and install, but the scenario isn’t the same for Windows 10.
