The Pathankot terror attack had blow holes in Pakistan’s claims towards wanting to build peace with India but a new report, if true, completely exposes Islamabad’s true intentions.

In a pre-dawn attack, a group of heavily-armed Pakistani terrorists, believed to be belonging to JeM, attacked the Pathankot Air Base on 2nd January killing seven security personnel.

According to Indian authorities, the terrorists who sneaked into Punjab and attacked the IAF base on January 2 were affiliated to the notionally banned terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.

The NSAs of India and Pakistan had met secretly in Bangkok last month, days after the prime ministers of the two nations met on the sidelines of the climate change summit in Paris.

Pakistani authorities also carried out raids in in Gujranwala, Jhelum and Bahawalpur districts, during which an unspecified number of people were arrested, intelligence officials said.

“We note and we re encouraged by the fact that the Pakistani government condemned the attack and said that they would investigate”, he said. “So, by Wednesday, a call will be taken on the Foreign Secretary-level talks”, said a source.

In yet another betrayal from Pakistan, at a time where pressures are mounting on the country to take action against the terrorists of the Pathankot attacks, Pakistan has gone on to deflect blame. “I strongly deny that I made such a statement”, Doval said in a telephonic conversation to ANI.

Addressing an audience which consisted of top brass of the Army including its chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag the minister said until those who inflict damage on others experience the same pain they will not change.

“Meanwhile, Congress attacked the government over the uncertainty” on the Foriegn Secretary-level talks, saying foreign policy is not conducted in such a way.

Kerry, he said, also “stressed that it’s obviously United States’ interest that India and Pakistan continue to look for ways to work better work better together on terrorism concerns but to reduce the tensions between the two countries”.
