Facebook Mentions is a way for celebrities to communicate with their fans, offering everything from a question-and-answer feature to support for live video.
The app requires 87MB of space on your phone and will work with phones sporting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and later operating systems. It’s Facebook Mentions, and if you don’t remember this is an app that was initially only available to early partnered celebrities, and eventually opened up to anyone with a verified profile (which is used to verify the pages of popular and public people).
The Mentions app allows those with verified accounts to broadcast live videos, interact with followers, track trending stories, and more. There is also the ability to share photos directly to Instagram from the app. Beyond that, it’s pretty much the same Facebook app.

Users will be able to locate the live videos from the News Feeds of the celebrity followed by them. They can read what others on Facebook are saying about them or topics that they are interested in.
