Arsenal are top of the Premier League ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Liverpool at Anfield.

With a two point lead over second place Leicester City and a three point cushion over Manchester City, Premier League leaders Arsenal may be considered favourites for the title, with over half of the season already complete. It’s so bad in fact they’ve been forced to loan ex-Spud Steven Caulker from QPR for the rest of the season to fill a gap in the centre of defence.
“But Arsenal, together with City, are the two best teams at this moment in the Premier League”. The team know that.
And Everton manager Roberto Martinez says it is important for his players to forget the cup for now and focus on the league showdown.
Klopp said he had been left with no option but to play a youthful team at St James’ Park, where only Christian Benteke and Adam Bogdan had significant first-team experience with any senior club. “Hopefully we can make decisions for the squad so that we don’t have to take all the players who are healthy”.
“That’s the situation, so we will probably have Kolo and Mama and the next one is Lucas [at centre-back]”.
ESPN FC’s Shaka Hislop and Craig Burley both favour Arsenal in their match against Liverpool with injuries playing a role.
Arsene Wenger is now the longest serving manager in world football and Klopp hopes he can achieve something similar with Liverpool.
Kolo Toure has hailed Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for the impact he had on his development.
Liverpool have been inconsistent so far under Klopp, but they have had some great wins against some top sides. “If we are good, then it could fit for this game of course”.
Ziege though, who spent a season at the club in 2000-01, has no doubt Klopp can deliver at Liverpool, as he did at Borussia Dortmund. “He is an excellent manager, and Emre Can is an excellent player. I’m looking forward to it”.

Therefore, The Reds are keen on a big win against Arsenal on Wednesday. He’s done it with George Weah; Patrick Vieira, who didn’t play at Milan; Thierry Henry, who didn’t play a lot at Juventus. Liverpool will have played nine games during that period by the time the German champions resume their league campaign on January 22.
