Stallone thanks ‘Creed’ director, co-star after Globes

Forty years after starring in the boxing drama “Rocky”, actor Sylvester Stallone was named best supporting actor at Sunday night’s (Jan. 10) 73 annual Golden Globes for portraying Rocky Balboa in “Creed”, the seventh film in the enduring franchise.

“I love Donald Trump”, said actor-director Sylvester Stallone, who created the character of Rocky Balboa for the series of Rocky movies that concluded with last year’s release of Creed.

Stallone won a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for reprising the role.

Apparently he immediately realized his mistake after exiting the stage, and thanked Coogler and Jordan during the commercial break that followed, which is sweet.

A few celebrities, including Samuel L. Jackson and Ava DuVernay, picked up on the blunder, with the latter writing rather caustically “Well”.

Well, we’re glad that Stallone straightened that out and finally gave Jordan and Coogler their proper credit.

Whether Stallone left Coogler and Jordan out on objective or simply forget to mention them, the snub did not go unnoticed on social media. “I was a kind of a peripatetic actor, on the road all the time, and I wasn’t really in the moment [when they were growing up]”.

Sylvester Stallone is a Golden Globe victor.

“He posted what he sought Sly should have said, writing: “#waitwaitwait, Ryan Coogler & Michael B Jordan, Thanks for acting with me!!! It proves I am not aware and I got caught up in the emotion. “I am the sum total of everyone I’ve ever met”, Stallone, teary-eyed, said. “I was promising myself that I would be very aware the whole time”.

He said: “I didn’t imagine that after Rocky Balboa, I thought we really waved goodbye to the past”. It proves I’m not aware. “Thank you, brothers. Good work”. I think it’s important to get back and start reliving your life.
