But WTSP, citing family friends, identified Tiffany Collins and her son “Bean” as being involved in the incident on Orange Drive before 11am.
Pasco Couunty authorities continue to investigate an accident in rural Spring Hill on Saturday in which a woman ran over her 2-year-old son’s foot on a riding lawn mower. His leg was amputated approximately three inches above the ankle, according to family members.
He was treated by Pasco Fire Rescue crews and air-lifted to an area hospital.
As the boy approached the mower, he fell in such a way that his leg went beneath the mower.
The family set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for medical care. “As much as everybody wants to say he should have been supervised, well for any single parent out there, they know it’s hard to watch a kid”.

The boy’s leg got caught under the mower and was severed below the knee. “The kid is not going to sit there at two years old and watch TV while you’re out mowing the lawn”, added Littlepage, in defense of criticism his sister-in-law has received on social media.
