“We said that we will have a single[-player] campaign, and I can promise you that we will have a solo campaign”.

It would be hard to fault gamers for assuming that the game was multiplayer-only after seeing the For Honor E3 2015 debut trailer, which focused on the PvP showdowns.

Cardin directly addresses the question about single player, though, saying that the team is asked about a solo campaign more than anything else, and says that there is definitely a solo campaign in the game.

“It’s one of the key subjects we’re working on on the floor”, Cardin explained. In a recently-released “Producer Highlights” video, however, Producer Stephane Cardin confirmed that there will be a full solo campaign as well. The game seemed largely like a multiplayer third-person hack and slash combat game, with sleek mechanics and great animations.

Games like Titanfall, Battlefront, and Rainbow Six Siege have marked a new trend in gaming and it has been very polarizing among gamers. All we’ve seen so far is from the multiplayer portion of the game, which sees up to 8 players square off in an arena armed with melee-weapons like axes and swords. The game demo gave an impression that For Honor is going to be a “multiplayer” only title. It will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
