Mannie Fresh, Juvenile and Lil Wayne New Album

Over the span of the last 20 years, Juvenile and Lil Wayne have all had a hand in several classic records produced by Mannie Fresh over the years, from “Back That Azz Up” to “Go DJ”, and they’ve just announced something that will make fans of their patented bounce extremely happy.

“We already got some features”, Juve says, although that’s about the bulk of the details. Each, in succession, left Cash Money, the label that gave them their start.

Other artists who escaped the label for similar reasons were Limp Bizkit, Mystikal and Busta Rhymes, who all left Cash Money Records in 2014.

Lil Wayne and Juvenile are members of the now on hiatus rap group Hot Boys, along with B.G. and Turk, who was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment in 2006 and released in 2012. As of September 2015, the Hot Boys had sold over 78 million albums together, NPR reported. First was Juvenile, whose departure led Wayne to title a solo album 500 Degreez in a bit of one-upsmanship after Juvie’s 400 Degreez became critically acclaimed and a fan favorite.

The Hot Boys already celebrated the good old times while performing at the Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans on August 28, which commemorated the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, according to BET.
