Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney said Sunday that he was frustrated at not being able to play Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs won their 11th consecutive game and snapped an eight-game playoff losing skid while handing the Texans their first home postseason loss in franchise history. Dontari Poe recovered it at the Kansas City 42 for the Chiefs and they extended their lead to 10-0 on a 49-yard field goal.

Although New England Patriots fans are confident in their team defeating the Kansas City Chiefs this weekend, it’s never good to approach a game without respecting the opponent. The Pittsburgh Steelers had a 15-0 lead over the Bengals heading into the fourth quarter at Cincinnati. Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer had his worst game, with four interceptions and a fumble.

The team failed to make any second-half adjustments, coming out of halftime and punting on its first possession.

The running game was steady and systematic, pounding out yard after yard against a Houston defense just got more and more exhausted as the Kansas City offense held the ball for 34:25 of game time.

Meanwhile, the chances of seeing Denver knocked off and removing any chance for the Patriots to have to travel if they advance to the AFC Championship took a blow as well when Ben Roethlisberger got his right shoulder squashed by Vontaze Burfict during the Steelers win.

Watt and Vince Wilfork on offense, and the play was a disaster. “A lot of guys have put a lot of work in and for me to cop out I think would just show lack of being a man and lack of leadership”. They’ve gone from one of the worst teams in the National Football League at creating them to one of the best – and they have taken care of the ball themselves at the same time.

While the severity of the ankle injury was unknown, it seems unlikely Maclin will be available for Saturday’s game at Gillette Stadium.

Devin McCourty also said he doesn’t buy into momentum that much, when the playoffs start it’s how you’re playing that night that’s all the matters.

“The game just ended”, O’Brien said. Kansas City right tackle Laurent Duvernay-Tardif suffered a concussion in the first half. “He’s such a good leader for us”.
