The “losers” will be named on the night before the Oscars at a special ceremony on February 27. Each of the Worst Picture nominees were recognized in six different categories of failure, save for Fantastic Four, which managed a comparatively terrific five.

There’s bad news for Northern Irish actor, Jamie Dornan, who was nominated as Worst Actor for Fifty Shades.

Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow gets a worst actress nod for comedy heist Mortdecai – with co-star Johnny Depp scoring two nominations, for worst actor and worst screen combo for his partnership with his glued-on moustache.

Reigning Best Actor Oscar-champ Eddie Redmayne (who is an Oscar contender again this year for “The Danish Girl”) was singled out for Worst Supporting Actor for his villainous role in “Jupiter Ascending”, for which Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis contend in the lead categories.

The romantic drama starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson scored six nominations for worst picture, screenplay, actor, actress, director and screen combo.

But the Razzie Awards aren’t all contempt and disdain, the Razzies Redeemer Award exists for those who turned in a surprisingly good film.

In the worst picture category, the top of the list was “Fantastic Four”, which seems to be a doomed franchise considering the modest box-office hauls of the recent reboot and the previous films in the franchise from Marvel Comics.

Worst Remake or Sequel nominees include “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”, “Fantastic Four”, “Hot Tub Time Machine 2”, “The Human Centipede 3” and “Paul Blart Mall Cop 2”.

In contention for worst supporting actress are Kaley Cuoco for “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip” (voice only) and “The Wedding Ringer”; Rooney Mara for “Pan”; Michelle Monaghan for “Pixels”; Julianne Moore for “Seventh Son”; and Amanda Seyfried for “Love the Coopers” and “Pan”.
