“Our Commonwealth has always been among the nation’s leading auto producers and I look forward to showing CEOs from first class companies throughout the world that Kentucky is open for business”. Lexus introduced the sporty LC 500 coupe, and a 4 door coupe concept, the LF-FC.

Dr. Dieter Zetsche, chairman of the board of management Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars addresses the media as the automaker unveils the new E-Class sedan during a preview night for the North American International Auto Show, Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016 in Detroit.

“Auto makers can educate this society a little bit more with the green vehicle products”.

The Porsche 911 Turbo debuts at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Monday, Jan. 11, 2016. But Stephanie Brinley, auto analyst at IHS Global Insight, said that does not mean most buyers will drive away in new gas-guzzlers. “So when we develop an all new one, it’s very important for us”. But lots of cars at the show are taking steps toward autonomy. Semi-autonomous driving capabilities including changing lanes by itself and maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front at speeds of up to 130 miles per hour. And numerous new vehicles, including the GMC Acadia and Lincoln Continental, have pedestrian detection systems that brake automatically before a collision.
