Hillary Clinton’s once-solid national lead over other 2016 Democratic presidential hopefuls has begun to slip with just weeks left before the race enters primary season, a new poll has found.
It would appear that most members of MoveOn agree with vanden Heuvel on this point. If she jumps behind Clinton, she will undoubtedly anger the legions of like-minded progressives who are powering Sanders’ insurgent campaign. The previous December 15 Quinnipiac poll found Clinton at 51%, with 40 percent for Sanders.
“Iowa may well become Sen”.
“It’s not a mistake”, Sanders said at a Democratic forum in Iowa on Monday. Hillary Clinton received 14.6 percent and Martin O’Malley received 0.9 percent with the remaining members urging no endorsement.
New Hampshire Rep. Ray Gagnon was mayor-elect of Claremont in 1991 and gave Bill Clinton his first walking tour of the city.
The former Secretary of State’s national lead has narrowed from 20 points in the same poll in early December. “We would pay for it obviously through increased-through premiums”, Sanders said. “And he has credibility on it”.
“There’s no secret Elizabeth Warren plan”, Devine said. The super PAC supporting him has plowed $52 million into ads.
I’m glad @BernieSanders is out there fighting to hold big banks accountable, make our economy safer, & stop the GOP from rigging the system. Weaver did not return a request for comment on Wednesday.
“Of course she would love to have Elizabeth’s support”, Sen. “Sanders has a great deal of respect”, Weaver said.
And while a majority of Democrats surveyed in Tuesday’s poll say they believe Clinton will still be nominated, other observers say the road is being paved for a dramatic primary. “Today, in another flip-flop, she’s doing exactly what she once decried”, a statement from Sanders’ campaign reads.
This latest criticism from Clinton comes shortly after President Obama’s push to increase gun safety regulations. “That ain’t the real world we’re living in”. Sanders also introduced an ad Wednesday in New Hampshire explaining his position on Social Security.
His campaign released a chart Wednesday showing how he would seek to pay for some proposals, though not health care.
Clinton accuses Sanders of waiting to dismantle Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.
Sanders responded by pointing out that he helped write the Affordable Care Act in the Senate and that Clinton had supported his health reforms in the past.
“She’s attacking me because I support universal health care”, Sanders said in an interview on MSNBC. After spending much of a year ago engaged in polite policy disagreements, even going long stretches without mentioning Sanders by name, Clinton’s team has unleashed a torrent of attacks on Sanders, focusing in particular on his record on gun control and his refusal to detail the cost to taxpayers of his health care plan.

“I think there’s some passion gap here that’s missing for Hillary Clinton”. They privately fear she risks falling into the same traps that contributed to her downfall in 2008: underestimating a rival and misreading voters eager for outsider candidates in both parties.
