That ticket matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number.
There’s a victor in the $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot but it’s not a Hoosier.
– A winning ticket was sold at the Tedeschi Food Shops store at 52 Bedford St.in East Bridgewater.
At least one person hit the jackpot after a confirmed winning ticket was sold in Chino Hills, CA, at a 7-Eleven store that was soon mobbed by a buoyant, cheering crowd that swarmed the store clerk to take selfies with him.
The winning numbers were 08, 27, 34, 04 and 19, and the Powerball was 10.
According to the New York Lottery, five life-changing tickets were sold in Queens (3), Long Island (1) and Rockland County (1).

Two tickets with a Power Play are worth $100,000 – they were sold in West Lafayette and Zionsville. Winners have to pay 39.6 percent of the prize in federal income taxes, in addition to any state taxes.
