While the .6 billion Powerball jackpot was not won in Pennsylvania Wednesday night, the lottery game did create a number of millionaires.

We don’t know who those lucky people are – but as The Associated Press reports, we do know they bought their tickets in California, Tennessee and Florida. Those states were Arizona, Florida, Iowa, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas.

Around the state 12 tickets were sold that matched all five numbers, excluding the Powerball.

The winning tickets were sold at the Quik Mart, 48 Broad Street SW, in Atlanta and at the Quick Stop in Douglas, Georgia, which is located at 1656 US Highway 221N.

Craig Hestand, manager of the QuikTrip in Dallas, said he was unsure what his store’s take would be for selling the $1 million ticket.

Soon after the hotly anticipated draw, California Lottery, tweeted that one winning ticket was sold in the San Bernardino suburb of Chino Hills.

The identity of the victor is not yet known.

In fact dozens of people gathered Wednesday night in suburban Los Angeles outside the store where the winning ticket was sold.

The next Powerball drawing, scheduled for Saturday, has a jackpot of just $40 million.

If there is only the one victor in California, that person could get a hefty payday, since the state does not tax lottery prizes.

Two Powerball tickets sold in North Carolina are worth $2 million, three are worth $100,000 and 14 are worth $50,000, lottery officials say.

Since October, the Powerball jackpot has rolled over 19 times.

These winners – and any other yet-to-be-announced winning ticket buyers – will be able to choose annual payments over 29 years or opt for a lump-sum payment of about $930 million.
