A woman has died in Vancouver after falling from a moving party bus.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to Burrard Street at West Hastings Street crossing after receiving a report that a woman had fallen from a party bus.
Her name has not been released.
Police aren’t offering more details at this time, but did say traffic will be delayed, as investigators work at the scene for several hours. The circumstances of the fall remain unclear; it is also not known whether alcohol or mechanical failure is involved.
The company “is committed to working with authorities in their ongoing investigation to determine the facts and to find out what happened”, he said. “It is a relatively easy thing to address, and it seems everyone wants to just not address it, so that’s very frustrating”, she says.
