DiCaprio Shares Best Actor Award with Indigenous People
– Lady Gaga on winning a Golden Globe for her first major acting role, as a centenarian blood-sucker on “American Horror Story: Hotel”.

In his career, Leonardo DiCaprio has been nominated for 10 Golden Globes and only walked away with the award three times, including his win for “The Revenant”.
“I share the award with all the indigenous communities around the world”, DiCaprio said in his acceptance speech.
DiCaprio won a Globe himself for his harrowing performance in the gritty film Revenant.
Following his speech, the actor and environmentalist received praise online for his tribute to Canada’s First Nations and indigenous people.
Leonardo DiCaprio became a trending topic during Sunday night’s Golden Globes for all the wrong reasons.
Leonardo, who plays real-life frontiersman Hugh Glass in the blockbuster, pipped fellow nominees Eddie Redmayne, Michael Fassbender, Will Smith and Bryan Cranston to the post.
Howard says he and his friends were watching in Vancouver when DiCaprio took the stage on Sunday to claim the best dramatic film actor award for his role in the 19th century survival epic. “So to make one that everyone enjoyed this much, we had this incredible crew, incredible cast, and really all came down to Ridley Scott”, Damon said.

“Shut up, you disgusting, pill-popping deviant scum!” he said by way of greeting the crowd at the event organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. “Listen, I’m sure it’s embarrassing for both of us”.
During his introduction of Best Picture nominee “Mad Max: Fury Road”, Gibson was roasted by host Gervais, who previously insulted him at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards ceremony.

When Ridley Scott, the director of The Martian, got up onstage to receive the award, he wondered out loud: “comedy?” before shrugging it off with a skeptical wave of the hand.
