NBC exec says Jimmy Fallon doesn’t have a drinking problem
On its own, the accident would’ve hardly been newsworthy, but coming on the heels of rumors about Fallon’s hard partying, as well as a freaky incident in which he chipped a tooth last August, the fall prompted questions and concerns about Jimmy’s drinking habits.

Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt denied the report Wednesday at the Television Critics Association. He’s had some accidents. These are 14 of the best musical moments that ever aired on television.
The fun-loving host makes no bones about his fondness for booze, as drinking games are a regular feature on his show, Greenblat stuck by Fallon. “There’s been conversations about that [but] the stories are exaggerated about this”. “People usually assume we’re No. 1 (in the 18-49 demographic) because of the unique advantage we have with football…but I also want to point out that when you factor out sports we are also No. 1 with entertainment programming only”. He said he was happy with Gervais’ performance, which again ruffled some feathers.
This is the same thing Bukowski’s publisher said about him.
Added Greenblatt, “Ricky made a decision about returning, but we haven’t made that yet”.
Greenblatt says that no deals for the production have been finalized as of right now.
Greenblatt elaborated on the live-drama issue later, giving an update on the live A Few Good Men staging with Aaron Sorkin, which has been in the works for more than a year.
Are you excited to see Hairspray live? It can feel quite limiting. “I think it’s unrealistic for a decade or so, but check back with me then”.
And since the latest trend in network TV is broadcasting live performances of hit musicals, it seems like Lin-Manuel Miranda’s smash hit would be the ideal choice to being put onto the small screen!
“Not everything’s going to be a big name to the whole audience”, Greenblatt said.

We’ll leave it up to Queerty members to speculate on the rest of the cast, but our money’s on an open casting call to find a newcomer to play Tracy Turnblad.
