All of the above-mentioned artists have also either won or been named as finalists in the critics’ choice category previously.

Brit Awards bosses have announced who will be joining Adele, Justin Bieber and Coldplay as performers at this year’s ceremony.

They will host the official BRITs Red Carpet and BRITs After Party shows for ITV2 on the night, giving viewers all the latest behind the scenes gossip and exclusive interviews. And Polydor’s Years & Years, whose Communion album has been another of the biggest breakthroughs of the last 12 months are up for British Group – where they’ll face heavyweight opposition from Blur, Coldplay, Foals and One Direction – British Breakthrough, Single and Video (both for King).
