An insider even told Hollywood Life that, ‘She’d love for 2016 to be the year they get married. “She says she’s always loved Liam and always will. He’s never met anyone quite like her, who has that hold on him”. Eyewitnesses have spotted the couple in a perpetual frolic since then, and Miley’s old engagement ring-which she’s said to have never given back to Liam when the broke up in 2013-has come back out, too.

The US magazine also claims that Miley and Liam have allegedly been in contact since October, flirting their way through texts leading up to New Year’s Eve.

But they later split in 2014 with the Can’t Be Tamed singer going on to date Patrick Schwarzenegger. Although the couple ended their relationship in 2013, Miley reportedly spent the holidays in Australia with her ex-fiancé.

However, the insider insists the Australian hunk isn’t phased by his former flame’s quirky behaviour, saying: “He realises she was growing up and experimenting. I can’t believe I can feel this way again, ‘” another source shares.
