In addition to game streaming, Microsoft is beefing up other aspects of the Xbox app for Windows 10. You will also use this to connect your Xbox One (or Xbox 360) controller to the computer or tablet. After all that tweaking, tinkering and number crunching, you’ll be able to begin streaming your Xbox One games to PC.

To turn on the streaming, on your Xbox One select “Allow streaming to other devices” in preferences which will give permission. This came Microsoft’s own Aaron Greenberg, who had announced via Twitter that the Xbox One had actually outsold the PS4 during the aforementioned time period, Game Rant reported. Games can be launched quickly using “Recently Played” as well.
The Xbox App is also getting upgrades as far as the social & gaming features are concerned. Microsoft can pull Windows 10 users into the Xbox ecosystem, which should hopefully translate to console sales.

The updated app will automatically detect Windows Store games and list them them in the “My Games” tab. Also good news? Game streaming is exiting preview.

Local game clips and images can be uploaded from the PC to the shared collection on Xbox Live.
